		<description>Another reason for oral cancer patients to use Biotene products, which while designed to work on the dry mouth issues, were designed with xlyitol from the beginning because the inventor at Laclede Mr. Mike Pellico, (the original manufacturer before the brands acquisition by GSK) understood the data on this which was peer reviewed published and realized that xerostomic oral cancer patients needed more than dry mouth solutions - that they were susceptible to caries from their treatment process as well. Biotene mouthwashes, tooth pastes, gums, and moisturizers all have this sweetener in them in helpful amounts.</description>
